Well it looks like we may be returning to Upper Heyford for CBBC's Driving Academy (I shot there with Jim Dowdall for BTS movie show for kids!). Driving Academy is a show in which we improve the driving skills of 4 viewers' parents as well as putting kids behind the driving seat too. We are working with Brake, IAM, DSA and others for the bulk of the filming but one sequence we hope will identify when things don't go so right - a blatant demonstration of stopping distances, adverse weather conditions, head on impacts, pedestrian accidents etc. For this we hope to secure the services of our very own "Stig" / stuntman or precision driver. We are in touch with Russ Swift and Alastair Moffatt but wondered if you could advise us of anyone else who would be up for helping us out. What do you know of these 2 guys too? We are potentially looking for an on-screen expert who can also be the demonstrator and devisor of up to 8-10 visual demos (all in the name of road safety).
