Vic's Movie Show Reel

NEW! - Vic's Commercial Show Reel

Above is my “MOVIE SHOW REEL” it basically contains a few clips from just a few of the movies I have directed the action on. Obviously it is impossible to include everything but I will try and update it for you as time goes on. Enjoy!

The NEW posting below it is my “COMMERCIAL SHOW REEL”. The commercials were great fun to shoot as it is a different challenge telling a story in 30 seconds without blowing anything up. I shot the commercials all over the World including Spain, Thailand, Japan and the USA

  11. Amy Ruse Says:

    Dear Mr Armstrong,

I work for Firefly Productions, a television production company based in London. We are producing an exciting new TV series for the Discovery Channel and we’re looking for a Stunt Co-ordinator who can take part in a presenter-type role within the show. I contacted the office of the Taurus World Stunt Awards and they recommended you as a leading stunt co-ordinator who is very personable and a great communicator. I wanted to tell you about our project and find out whether you might be interested.

    Series Synopsis:
This 13 part series for the Discovery Channel is all about testing objects to destruction on a massive scale, exposing the strengths and weaknesses of their design and composition. A cross between ‘Mythbusters’ and ‘Seconds from Disaster’, the series aims to put each featured object through its paces with experiments and tests before creating the ultimate ‘perfect storm’ scenario which will see the object reach its breaking point. From workshop hangars on a disused airfield, two engineers lead a team of experts who, along with an experienced stunt co-ordinator, will build, break and blast their way to understanding what planes, trains and automobiles can withstand.

We are looking for a stunt co-ordinator who has an engaging onscreen personality and the ability to interact well with the team and communicate what they do in a simple and interesting way for the viewer.

If this sounds like something you’d like to hear more about, please drop me a line.

    Kind Regards,
    Amy
