A Sunday Horse was a labour of love for Vic who had always wanted to make an authentic horse film. He collaborated with his daughter, Georgina Armstrong, who helped develop the script along with Susan Rhinehart. Georgina acted and performed using her own grand-prix horses in the film. The script was based on the true story of Debi Waldon who, against the odds, trained her horse to an Olympic-level competition standard of showjumping; a dream shared by many young horse-riders driven by faith in their passion for horses but lacking the funds. A Sunday Horse was one of Vic’s fondest filmmaking experiences, working with A-list talent like William Shatner, Linda Hamilton, Ving Rhanes and Nikki Reed, bravely supported by Producer Ronnie Clemmer, all brought together by Vic through his and his father’s passion for horses - now shared with his daughter Georgina.
